Perfect fit
Before I bought my condo, the previous owners had the bright idea of taking a paint sprayer gun and just covered every wall, outlet, vent, and ceiling with beige paint. I have been just gradually working through every room and replacing all of these things as well as repainting everywhere. It took a lot of work, but I managed to chip the caked on, super thick beige paint enough to turn the screws and peel it off of the wall. At first, I thought it would repaint it, but I decided against that as soon as I saw this vent. It fit perfectly over the duct opening, and the two screws lined up with the previous vent. It is a simple vent, but it looks nice and looks good with the sage color I painted the walls.IMy bedroom AC vent is located near the ceiling and I know the grates should point down, but that angle shows the inside of the duct and the ugly mess of beige. So I installed it upside down. Not sure how that will affect how the air flows leaving the vent or if it will hinder lowering the room temperature, but it looks much better. I think my photo shows them pointing down, but had to change
